Vernal Middle School serves and educates over 700 students in grades 6th and 7th in the Uintah School District. Vernal Middle School is located in Vernal, Utah.
VMS encourages parents to call the school if they have any concerns about their student or their student's academic progress. Our goal at Vernal Middle School is to not only provide a quality education for every student, but to focus on the individual needs of each child.
At Vernal Middle School we want every student to be successful. We realize that at times, school can seem a little overwhelming to our students, so we have some tools in place to help them.
- Weekly progress reports go home every Thursday. Parents, if you see a grade you're concerned about please call us so we can help your child.
- Homework help sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, after school. These run from 2:25 until 3:25. Transportation home is the parent or student responsibility.
Vernal Middle School also has enrichment activities in place for those students who are excelling in school. You'll hear more about this in the near future as we send home information about our honor roll and special activities.
